MATCH RECAP: Inter Miami CF Earns a Point on the Road Against FC Dallas

 Inter Miami CF drew 1-1 on the road against FC Dallas on Monday night. Heineken Man of the Match Leonardo Campana entered the match in the second half and scored Inter Miami’s equalizer in the 88th minute to help the team claim a point from its visit to Toyota Stadium. Lineup Notes Inter Miami made three changes to its starting XI from the team’s 2-1 home win against Minnesota United FC. Drake Callender started in goal; captain DeAndre Yedlin, Damion Lowe, Ryan Sailor and Chris McVey lined up in defense; Victor Ulloa, Robert Taylor and Jean Mota formed the midfield trio; and Indiana Vassilev and Ariel Lassiter flanked Gonzalo Higuaín in attack. Campana comes off bench, scores 89th minute goal for Inter Miami in 1-1 tie at Dallas

 For the second game in a row, Inter Miami got a late-game spark from a hyper-motivated substitute and it resulted in a 1-1 tie that felt like a win on the road against FC Dallas. On Monday night, it was Leo Campana with the heroics in the final minutes. Inter Miami’s leading scorer and one of the most exciting forwards in MLS this season, Campana was as surprised as most fans when he found out he was not starting. So, when he finally came off the bench in the 61st minute, he was determined to prove he belonged on the field. He scored the 89th-minute equalizer on a header after receiving an assist from Robert Taylor, who eluded two Dallas defenders on the right side before finding Campana. It was Campana’s eighth MLS goal of the season, and ninth counting U.S. Open Cup. And it was Miami’s first goal away from home since mid-April. Emporia State football player killed in cliff diving accident

 EMPORIA, Kan. — Emporia State University says redshirt sophomore football player Brexten Green died following a cliff diving accident at Grand Lake in Oklahoma. According to Emporia State, Green was set to begin his second year at Emporia State after red-shirting last season.
